The salt and other minerals of the Great Salt Lake have helped create our signature Trestlewood II product line, known for its wide range of colors and other unique characteristics.
Trestlewood II timber products are sawn from Douglas Fir piling of the Great Salt Lake's Lucin Cutoff railroad trestle. TWII timber products include Circle-Sawn Timbers, Band-Sawn Timbers, Planed Timbers, Weathered Timbers and Character Timbers.

Characteristics
- Significant amounts of salt and other minerals
- Wide range and variety in colors, including occasional dark streaks/stains from the salt and minerals
- Some timbers contain a few 1" diameter holes where metal has been removed. Such holes are generally surrounded by streaking black stains
Band-Sawn Timber Dimensions
- Standard cross-sections 8x8 to 10x10
- Standard lengths to 16'
- Band-sawn timbers are targeted at 1/2" under full-sawn dimensions listed as less than 6", and 3/4" under full-sawn dimensions listed as 6"+, with (+/-) 1/8" tolerance
- Other dimensions: Cross-sections to 14x16; lengths to 32'+; target dimensions and tolerances are impacted for larger timbers - see specification sheet for details
