The salt and other minerals of the Great Salt Lake have helped create our signature Trestlewood II product line, known for its wide range of colors and other unique characteristics.
Trestlewood II timber products are sawn from Douglas Fir piling of the Great Salt Lake's Lucin Cutoff railroad trestle. TWII timber products include Circle-Sawn Timbers, Band-Sawn Timbers, Planed Timbers, Weathered Timbers and Character Timbers.

Characteristics
- Significant amounts of salt and other minerals
- Wide range and variety in colors, including occasional dark streaks/stains from the salt and minerals
- Could include bolt holes, staining, substantial butt checking, gouging where metal has been removed - generally more rustic / rougher in nature than standard TWII products.
- Generally circle-sawn texture
