Trestlewood's Douglas Fir Rescued Resawn Lumber is generally resawn from nature-damaged (fire, insect, etc.) logs or from by-products of sawmill, logging or other wood-processing operations. Often the logs from which these lumber are cut are "standing dead."
Rescued Resawn Lumber offer a competitively-priced alternative to reclaimed lumber.

Douglas Fir Rescued Lumber is processed from new logs which were cut from tracts made available for logging because of forest fires, beetle or other insect infestations, or similar issues. The tracts were generally opened to logging because many of the trees were dead or dying. Not every individual tree was dead before being cutdown.Tags
