Rupple Barn Frame for Reassembly

The Rupple Barn is wonderfully unique Pennsylvania Bank Barn. Built in 1866 by George Kheen, it features large hand hewn timbers and a gable roof over the entrance. The mortgage on this property in the early 1900's, was held by Dwight Green, a Ligonier, Indiana native who later became an attorney in Chicago. Green was U.S. Attorney in the Northern District of Illinois during the 1930's when the Feds were taking on organized crime rackets like Al Capone's. Green later became governor of Illinois.

The Rupple Barn is 40' x 68' and is perfect for a unique barn home.

Each timber has been labeled and blueprinted as the barn was skillfully dismantled by the Cannon Salvage crew.
