1 tight knot (1" or under) every 1 square foot allowed (on a 1x6 board, this would translate into 1 tight knot every 2 linear feet); larger knots in lower frequency allowed (for example, a 2" knot in 2 square feet that is otherwise clear would be allowed); 2" maximum knot size; knots can be broken, loose or fallen out

Holes

Occasional random nail holes and bolt holes; some staining around the nail holes and bolt holes or on the face is allowable

Checking/Cracks

Moderate amounts of surface checking allowed; no cracks

Grain Pattern

Moderately tight grain; vertical, flat or mixed

Standard Dimensions

a) Thickness: 3/4"; b) Width: Varies, depending on Douglas Fir Classic Millwork Stock available at time of order; typical Classic flooring widths can be expected to be 3" to 7"; wider (and/or narrower) Classic flooring may be available at any given time; and c) Length: 1 to 10'.
